1. About Us

World Cup Sweepstake 2026 ("the Service") is operated by H2 Concepts Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17019070 ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

The Service is a software tool that allows organisers to create and manage sweepstakes for the 2026 men's football World Cup tournament. Participants join for free. We do not handle, hold, transmit, or facilitate any funds between participants.

2. Nature of the Service — Not Gambling

The Service is a digital game management tool provided on a software-as-a-service basis. It is not a gambling product, a betting service, a lottery, or a prize competition as defined under the Gambling Act 2005 or any equivalent legislation.

The organiser of any sweepstake created using this Service is solely responsible for how their group chooses to participate, including any arrangements regarding entry contributions or prizes. We are not a party to, and accept no liability for, any such arrangements. Any monetary agreements between participants are entirely private matters conducted independently of and outside this platform.

By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you understand the Service is a software tool only, and that we do not endorse, facilitate, or take any part in any financial arrangements between you and other participants.

3. Independence & Non-Affiliation

sweep.football is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to any football governing body, national association, confederation, or the organisers of the 2026 men's football World Cup. All team names, country names, and national flags used on this platform are used for factual, descriptive purposes only to identify the participating nations in the tournament. No association with or endorsement by any such body is implied or claimed.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account or joining a sweepstake, you confirm that you are of legal age and that use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction. The Service is intended for social entertainment purposes among friends, family, and colleagues.

5. Sweepstake Rules

• All 48 World Cup 2026 teams are randomly allocated among participants using a cryptographically fair algorithm.
• If all of a participant's allocated teams are eliminated in a given round, that participant is eliminated from the sweepstake.
• Surviving participants are redrawn with the remaining teams after each knockout round.
• The final two participants remaining are declared winner and runner-up.
• Draw results are final and cannot be appealed.

6. Platform Fee

Organisers pay a one-time platform fee of £20 via Stripe with 3D Secure authentication to create and activate a sweepstake. This fee covers hosting, automated draws, notifications, and running the platform for the duration of the tournament. Participants join for free — no payment is collected from them by us.

The £20 platform fee is refundable if the first draw has not yet been triggered. Once the draw has run, the fee is non-refundable.

We do not collect, hold, pool, or distribute any money between participants. Any prize arrangements between participants are entirely a private matter between the organiser and their group, outside the scope of this platform.

7. Prizes

We do not provide, fund, or fulfil prizes. How an organiser chooses to reward the winner of their sweepstake — whether cash, bank transfer, a third-party gift card, or anything else — is entirely at their discretion and outside the scope of this Service.

8. Communications & Marketing

By creating an account or joining a sweepstake, you agree to receive transactional communications from us relating to the sweepstake you have created or joined. These include, but are not limited to: draw notifications, team allocation confirmations, elimination updates, round redraws, and the final result. These communications are necessary for the operation of the Service and cannot be opted out of while you remain an active participant.

Your contact details (email address and, where provided, telephone number) are held by H2 Concepts Ltd for purposes relating to this Service. Where you have separately opted in to marketing communications, we may contact you with updates and relevant product information. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting us at hello@sweep.football or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

We will not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties outside our group without your explicit consent. Our full data practices are set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Fair Play & Integrity

All draws use crypto.getRandomValues() with the Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm. Draw audit logs are publicly visible to all participants for transparency. Any attempt to manipulate the draw or exploit the platform may result in immediate removal from the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We make no guarantees regarding tournament scheduling, match results, or third-party services. Our total liability to any organiser is limited to the £20 platform fee paid. We are not liable for any arrangements made between participants regarding prizes or money.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered organisers. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
